Pretty scary stuff (especially for you boxing fans)

how much you wanna bet he was on a supersport and riding squid??
glad he's live though...

He went airborne at 75mph and landed on his back. Do you really think the type of bike or gear mattered?

Ofcourse proper gear would have mattered. He was probably riding squid and squids are retards, and reason why bike insurance is insanely high these days. Personally when I see or hear of squids going down and hurting themselves, I laugh my *** off.

Depends on the direction of his "flight". If it was mostly forward, gear could be effective ("could" being the qualifier). If his trajectory was mostly upward, the only gear that would help is a set of wings. The article said '65 feet in the air', so I'd say that's a fair bit "upwards".

And Lone, don't be so quick to wave the ATGATT flag. The article also said
article said:
Williams was going around a curb when he swerved out of the way of a driver of a car who was on the inside lane that Williams told Peterson was “on his cell phone.”
... so until someone invents "anti-idiot-cager-on-a-cell-phone" gear, people will just have to concede that sometimes deaths and injury occur as a result of idiots on the road, and regardless of the gear they're wearing.

your an idiot!
"you're"

My analysis is that in order for you to get upwards of 65' in the air, you have to be travelling pretty god damn fast.. faster than 75mph (120km/h)! You don't get that kind of trajectory going around a corner at a steady pace.

This structure is 65' tall. Look at how small those people are.. speed had to be an issue here.

Also, going around a corner, faster than your vision can see was probably a factor too!

didn't mean to raise no flags, even I've been riding without my jacket sometimes the past couple days. I also don't mean to stereotype but the first thing that came to my mind was I'm sure this guy thinks he's an indestructible badass while ripping it on a SS, maybe I would too, given his circumstances...
Think of Floyd Mayweather he has all the money in the world and would probably want a Busa just to show off, but you think he'd be bothered to wear a single piece of gear other than his bling bling chain and rings? I'd really laugh my *** off if something like this happened to that cocky ****er...but I'd hope he doesn't get paralysed so PacMan can still put a whooping on him
