Where to buy 25mm valve shims in GTA?

Anyone know a shop that keeps a selection in stock to sell? I need a 25mm x 2.45mm shim for my 93 Triumph Sprint. Any shim that size is OK, doesn't have to be Triumph. I know lots of bikes use the same shims (some CB750/900, Yamaha Vmax,FJ1200/1300, some Kawis, etc.)

Just looking to speed the process of calling around.

Also, have some 2.65 (3) to trade for 1 .

The nice weather caught me in the middle of winter maintenance - I'm riding the bus! Help a guy out!!

Thanks,
Scott

Did you import the Sprint yourself?

That it would be. I had a '94 from new and it was a fantastic bike. is it stock? A few minor jetting changes really wake them up and make the throttle response much nicer. I believe they imported 27 Candy Apple Red and about 26 British Racing Green Sprints that year.

I guess I have one of 27 candy apple red ones.

Mine has a few nice mods: Micron cans (awesome sound), Corbin saddle, Givi side and top cases. It has ~80,000km and still pulls strong, burns no oil...

It was mint but I dropped it a low speed a couple of years ago (damn streetcar tracks in the rain) put a few small scrapes on the right side.

Attached (hopefully) is a pic of us atop the Cabot Trail.

BTW, I got a shim (thanks Rosey Toes), so thanks for the replies.

I think you might have my old bike :D
I bought mine with the Givi side cases (badged as Triumph) and added Microns, rejetted, Corbin seat with red piping and a screen from Jack Lilley in U.K.and a Givi top box. The starter sprag was a weak point and I put in a 4th gen sprag at about 60,000kms. It was always the fastest out of about 6 similar bikes.

Interesting, it sounds like the bike (bags as you describe). I do recall something about an aftermarket screen, but I wasn't sure. According to the UVIP the original owner was a PT in Newmarket but it wasn't registered until 96. Second owner was a Polish guy in Mississauga I bought it from.

I hope it's the bike because I'd be glad to know the sprag clutch has been replaced. Anyway, the 900 triple is a classic motor, smooth with bags of torque right where you need it most.

I was thinking about selling it in the spring, actually, I mostly commute to work in the city and it's a little big and thirsty...
