Blackberry on your moto

Why would you even want to mount a bb? I just keep mine in its pouch n pull over to text. Although i've also placed it in my tank bag's clear pocket to watch for bbms

cuz some of them come as touch screens and can be used as a gps...some of us don't wanna carry around a bevvy of electronics...i would love to stick mine on the handle bars when riding and i need a cheap and dirty gps to glance down at...originally i had the bad habit of switching it to my left hip when riding so my non-throttle hand could check it when riding...i have since stopped doing this habit...

Yeah, I figured it was gonna be used for GPS purposes. But how accurate does BB maps/google maps follow you? I could imagine the battery drain (backlight constantly on+usage) and insane data costs(if u don't have unlimited) would be more of a hassle than getting a decent GPS and a cheap mount.

I think there is a Garmin app for BB, I could be wrong though. Its better then nothing, but not something I would ever want to use as a gps. Would not use my 4S either. I like a dedicated GPS with big touch screen and waterproof.

A RAM aquabox is waterproof and will let you see the screen and allows use with some touchscreen devices but I don't know if it will work with capacitative screens.

Or you could just figure out where you going before you leave the house.

the best rides start with a full tank of gas and a random direction chosen.

But then you'd be fumbling with a map and/or directions on a piece of paper which is much more inconvenient and distracting than any kind of mounted device.

Back when I was too lazy to get a GPS, I've actually done a few epic day trips by studying the path I was gonna take the night b4 then righting down all the turns on a paper which I taped to my windscreen XD Turned out alright. But I pulled out the BB when I sometimes lose myself to get back on track =P
