Anyone know where I can order the Locking/Visor Plates for the Scorpion EXO-750 hemets?

I heard it's a great upgrade for my EXO-700....can't find the plates on Ebay.

I've bought everything Scorpion from SBTG.The weird helmet liners are cool.
 
Go to the shop you bought it from. You buy a exo 750 visor and Scorpion will give you the sideplates and hardware free. I spoke with the Scorpion rep for North America and he stated it is a well known complaint and he comps them free every day.

I got the Helmet off EBay. :-(

Very interesting info though. I wonder where I can order a visor and get the sideplates+hardware for free?

Its not like I'm thinking about it either. I need the 750 plates w/ a drk tinted visor.

On my trip to Deals Gap las year the visor was become a real PITA.
 
So I called the Scorpion company in the US. Their warranty dept was going to ship me the sideplates for less than $20 but when he found out I was in Canada he said they only ship inside the US. They gave me the CDN scorpion number but when I called them they said they only ship the side plates to their distributors.

So I'm back to square one.....gotta find a local dealer.
 
I'm a distributor, at Peterborough Cycle Salvage, and I come down to brampton/Oakville almost every weekend. I looked in the catalogs at work and couldn't find the plates, but you can have them send it to me, just make them put attention Melanie on it or something.

I can order you a visor too if you want.
 
i dont find the 750 visor much of any better. The way it props open is stupid because it only cracks the one side (most quality helmets the visor will actually open to this position) and the locking feature serves no purpose on the street.
 
I can't find the plates in any catalogues either...and I can't have them send it to you because they will only take calls from an authorized dealer.

I need to find someone, somewhere you can order me the plates and a visor.
 
When you say side plates do you mean the circle shapes plates that hold all the hardware? I broke one of the lil clips from that off and need one bad.
 
Scorpion revised the side plates on the EXO-700 halfway through the production run to add a notch to open the visor just a crack. I emailed Scorpion and they sent me 2 sets of replacements free of charge, including covering the shipping.

I own a 1100 from GPBikes. They don't have any visors for it until June.

Any chance you can order it for me at the same discount GP offered me? gold mirrored. I believe the 1100 is compatible with 1000 visors too.

I just dug up the emails and it was scorpion USA via the contact link on their website and I did pay for shipping. The emails were from Feb 2010, so things may have changed since then.

When I called Scorpion USA they said they wouldn't ship to Canada.

They gave me the CDN number and they said they don't ship to customers. Distributers only.
 
I've got an Exo 400 and while I love the fitment, one of my sideplates is reallly stiff and it's hard to get the visor off that side. I'd be in for a new set of plates as well so if there's anyone ordering from a distributor in canada, let me know cause I'm definitely interested in a set.
