so im thinking of getting a slip on for my cbr600 and i am curious on whether i would need a power commander or just get it remapped this is what ppl suggested to me but im not sure what is needed bcuz someone else told me that i dont need to do either just to bolt it on and thats it

No power commander, no remapping. It's just a slip-on. Just take off the OEM and put the new one on. Easy peasy.

Did someone on dot net tell you it needed a PC?

For a slip on, you dont really need anything. Just slip on and your done.

I had a slip-on installed on my GSX-R and installed a power commander as well.
Only because my slip-on eliminated the catalytic converter.
As long as your cat. is still in place you should not need any tuning or a fuel management system.
Just bolt on and enjoy. :)
