Funny seeing my old smashed bike for sale 3 months later.

sonic cycle probably doens't know about the bent frame. Or they are lying in hopes to sell. But the title would be salvage? So nobody would be fooled.

Someone building a drag bike out of that wreck would know what he's doing. Most likely a frame would be fabricated or at least the existing frame would be checked for straightness. No one is going to bet their life on a bent frame. So you're a fan of old school GSXRs?

Yes sir,

Love riding a motorcycle that looks nothing like todays bikes, not to mention, the HUGE down low torque. Damn I miss my old Gix, non of my buds newer bikes could keep up, or at least, off the line.

To answer the OP's question:

I have recently heard there is no system or program in place in Ontario for branding motorcycle frames as salvage.

I believe that is to bring a salvage bike back to a rebuilt title?
Once a bike is marked salvage it can never be used on the street again.

Yes, once it has be labeled salvage, it can never ride on the road again. They list the bike as a parts bike or a bike to build a drag bike with. They are not saying you can just start drag racing with it.

I think anything can be rebuilt, just takes time and money and someone interested in going through all that.

I'm saying that what I heard is that bikes will never be branded as salvage in the first place. The shop is not selling the bike in question as a streetable bike, however, it probably has a clean title.

I have seen a few HD's sold at auction marked salvage and would never be street worthy. Basically they were selling as show bikes.
