Where to get motorcycle gear in Toronto

There is Cycle world @ Sheppard and McCowan. They have lots of gear but I dont recall many pants.

Also Vonn cycle and Snow city. I haven't been to those so I dont know how much gear they sell.

But your best bet is to take a trip out to Whitby and check out GP Bikes and Royal distributing. I really like GP, haven't checked out their new place yet.

Riders Choice.

TTC to Sherway Gardens, then Mississauga Transit to the Queensway and Dixie. They're located on the Northwest corner of that intersection... 2276 Dixie Rd. I know it's out of your way, but just giving you another option.

GP's new place is awesome down in Whitby.
And if you head there you have to check out Royal Distributing just 50 feet away!

Both are awesome places with tons of really helpful staff.

The only place IN Toronto I know of is here: www.studiocyclegroup.com
You can take a bus 2 minutes up from Keele station (or just walk if it ever stops raining) or the 26 bus from dupont station for 10 mins (guestimate) since you're coming from north(?)

Buy gear online. Local prices tend to be horribly inflated. Royal Distributing seams to be most fair but they're not close to where you live. Kahuna is a rip-off and a small selection, they're a bike dealer mostly.

I bought 90% of my stuff from newenough.com or used from kijiji

If you are in scarborough, Cycleworld had a big selection. Snow city not so much.

GP Bikes was the best. I went to their old place, got lost, and one of the dude's stayed on the phone w/ me to guide me to where they were lol (lack of GPS for fail).

I'd say to try on things at one of the shops (like motorcycle superstore because of their selection) then look online for it. It's the perfect excuse for a ride on your lunch break to boot :)

I live downtown Toronto and need to get some boots. GP sounds like the best bet, but something closer would be nice - how's Rider's Choice?

I actually got my gears from 3 different stores.

Helmet and gloves i got from Rider's choice.
Then I got my boots from Altimate. There's not much female riding boots out there and the sport bike boots they make are comfortable, secure, stylish and has all the protection i want. Plus it's water proof!

and i got my jacket from Pannon. I saw that jacket at studio cycle first, but the price difference was like $50 at the time.

Check it...its a "Ladies" leather jacket size 12 and boots I picked up this week at Cycle World Superstore in scarborough. And!!!.... all the armour is exactly where its supposed to be...I couldn't believe my eyes... I actually found something that wasn't farkin pink with no armour!
