The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

The 06 i believe is the fz6n

As mentioned before ...07 had some improvements done on it... But also has greater mileage

Check them both out then make a decision

There was no FZ6N sold in North America, it's a home made naked. I'm also wary of buying anything modded, unless it's exactly what I want and appears to have been done well. Far too many people permanently butcher the hell out of their bikes when adding mods.

Personally, I'd go for the '07. Mileage difference is negligible, and the owner appears to be on top of maintenance which is exactly what you want in a higher mileage bike. '07 introduced much better gauges, better swingarm, removable passenger pegs, better fuelling, better front brakes, improved front fairing, option of factory lower fairings. Unless you get a good deal on an '06, I would try to find an '07.

PS, sold my '06 FZ6 with 115k km for $2800 last spring. Had some pricey upgrades, but also had 115k km. $3200 for a stock '07 with half the mileage seems like a decent deal.

How is that reasonable? In 2008 you could get one for just over 4g out the door....

Hahaha. No you're not allowed to post your own bike.

If you did you'd just end up looking quite silly.

Are we allowed to post our own bikes? It is definitely a reasonable price.

Sweet deal. I'll take 10!

I'm going to be selliing my 2011 CBR 250. Has like 4k on it. Other than that pretty much stock and all that stuff. I'm not gonna go and say it was washed with the tears of unicorns or something like that to make it sound like more that it is. Oil was changed and all that. How much would be reasonable? im thinking in the 3250-3750 area....would that be reasonable?

Actually, I think you can post your own bike, IF it is reasonably priced. Otherwise you're gonna get roasted. :D

"My asking price is reasonable."

???

First of all, I find it hard to believe you could get a ninja 250 for $4k all in out the door in 2008. That would be a pretty good deal in today's market and is a crazy claim unless you can show proof. Regardless, these bikes maintain a good resale value.

Secondly, correct me if I am wrong but this is a REASONABLE price thread. My bike is more than reasonably priced compared to the crazies asking for $3800+. I'm also not firm as mentioned so there is wiggle room.

Last year all ninja 250s hovered around 3000-3500 depending on condition, so can you logically come up with a reason as to why $3250 is not a reasonable price in today's ninja 250 market?

You registered here just to post your bike, go away.

You came here just to advertise a sale, you have no interest in the forum and then you're trying to argue with members on how your bike is priced reasonably. It's $3250 for a 7 year old bike with 24,000km on it that isn't certified and has been dropped, for a model that's been superseded with one with a bigger engine when there's bikes that are newer with less km on the odometer for less.

Ok I'll bite.

I actually have an account here which I used contributed last year but I lost the password to it so I created a new one. Even if I only came here to sell the bike.. So what? I am not breaking any rules. This is a community for riders and you aren't doing any favours by trying to lose members of the community.

Yes I am defending my sale because it is a REASONABLE price. I can't believe I even have to argue this but wow.

4/5 of those sales are all located WELL outside the GTA. Who has time to drive around and inspect countless bikes? They are listing it for low prices because of the market in those cities. The other bike is in terrible cosmetic shape.

My bike is in great condition and includes everything a rider would want from a ninja 250 including tasteful mods. Don't argue with me and say mods don't add any value to a bike because I don't want to get into that argument. Bottom line is it is mostly cosmetic upgrades which any new rider would want anyway. I'm also throwing in USEFUL accessories that the person can either use or sell for money.

That newer model costs $6500+ brand new and $4500 in the used market. Apples and Oranges.
