I'm wondering how much of the 4 year warranty is even usable on a "heavily modded" bike.

I have nothing against BMW ....some models represent value for money ...I'd consider the 310 entry and the S1000XR is incredible given the performance and technology.

An 800 twin from a company with a poor reliability record and the guy wants $16k used?...fugedaboudit.

As long as you leave the pedals attached, that appears to be a legal ebike (which just goes to show you how far ebikes have drifted from the original design concept of an power assisted bicycle).
