The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Looks complete and original. That $600 asking price screams $500 cash takes it. If I didn't blow the outdrive on my boat last weekend, I'd definitely have a look at that. :(

Am I being reasonable? There aren't many of these for sale to compare to. 2 on E-bay, two god awful blue ones on auto trader. Only a few more on kijiji, but I feel like my bike looks a lot better than the other used ones for sale. It's a similar price to what I paid for it, but to get it looking like that took a fair amount of money too. Although I guess mods don't equal an increase in value.

Just saw a link on Twitter to a guy that 3D printed that bike. I sent him the Kijiji link.

Price seems right-ish. Bike looks nice. Reason for selling sucks, but understandable. Good luck. You may have to change your GTAM handle ?

I guess your price is fair, it's "free". Lol I think someone's messing with your ad, wasn't there a link on here about this recently? I've been watching this model for a while as my wife is thinking er6 or Gladius as her next bike. I personally would take some of the mods into consideration when making an offer, however a few of those mods hold no value to me. Overall, I think it should be priced around $5000 with a bit of room for negotiation.
Just luc just sold his 10 ninja 650 for $4900 asking, no idea on final price.
I recently bought an 09 Versys 650 with givi v35s, Mra vario screen, heat demon grips, kaoko throttle lock, new chain/sprockets, tires, with under 7k on it for $4800.
My .02 cents...

Man I wish I had the time to take on a project right now. Assuming it's not a rat's nest, the price is fantastic.

As said before, unfortunately, mods do not hold their value when reselling a bike. You're often better off taking them off the bike and reselling them individually. On your bike I would only be interested in things like the frame sliders, heated grips, and maybe the SS brake lines. When I was buying my bike I asked if the owner had all the stock parts. It's hard selling a modded bike because you have to find someone that wants exactly all those mods.

I think its over priced personally. Ye there is a lot of mods but really that doesnt change much. For $6500 you can buy a lot more bike than that er6n.

+1, it's 5 years old and they sell in that era for $4500. The farkle is worthless.
That would be a more reasonable price, imo. Maybe a bit higher.

Also, he said in the ad he has good rates through SF because it's a standard but he should've been able to get cheaper insurance through anyone else since SF charges by engine size and doesn't care that it's an upright bike. SF is only good for SS bikes.

Maybe you should post your sale ad when you sell your bike. I would love to see it given the amount of **** you gave to other sellers.

But i bet you wont... So typical

Sold my 2009 650R for under $4500 2 years ago. Lower km but fewer mods.

Im not arguing the price but caferay really has a passion to bash every sellers for their asking prices. I mean why does he care so much? Just let the market take care of it. If its too high it wont sell.

The way I list my bikes is by usually asking about $500 above my bottom price that I would take. This way there is room for "negotiation". I actually prefer for negotiation to take place by email / phone that way I dont have to waste my time meeting with low ballers.

Because the guy asked if his price is reasonable. It was quite high.
