WROAR was once a women’s only ride but over the years we have evolved and now include all makes and models of people. Our charity is a one day event held in June, where riders collect donations from people to participate, we then “ride out” on a new route every year and all funds go to the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre to help pay for things such as crisis line training, volunteer training, and any other areas the centre is lacking in.
We are currently having a member drive for new members for the WROAR ride. We are working on 8 years now, and as always is looking like a fun and exciting time.Members can be anything from show staff volunteers to event day planners it’s all about the time you can afford to donate to us.
We are having our first meeting Tuesday November 15[SUP]th[/SUP], new members are welcome to join us around 8pm for a meet and greet where you can meet the committee members and ask us any questions you may have. The meeting is around Queen/Spadina, please feel free to message me for directions and exact address and any questions you may have.
