Winter Riding

Hi all,

Just looking for some tips on how to maintain my bike while driving during winter. Not really how to winterize the bike, as I would like to ride it whenever possible...

So my questions are:

- Do you keep the tank always filled to the top to avoid moisture from building?
- Do you use fuel stabilizer?
- How about engine coolant (fuel coolant)?
- Do you let the bike run for a while when it's been a few days that you can't ride? How long?
- Any other tips?

Thanks,
Vic.

I did search for "winter+riding"... could not find anything related to this.

most important is to lube the chain and grease up major bits and bolts so they don't rust and the salt doesn't seal em shut. Don't worry about stabilizer or anything if you're able to ride at least a couple times a week. I've been riding as regularly as I can but it looks like winter just hit us again...
