Took a quick ride on my brother's SV650s to the DMV today to get plates for my Ninja 250r..cold wasn't much of a problem but the wind was crazy! Weather network said 42km/hour gusts.. thankfully I wasnt blown across lanes or anything, but I'm sure being on a bigger bike helped. I've been told the Ninja 250r will be much more vulnerable to the wind.. Sunday will be my first ride on it, hopefully winds will be calmer. I wouldn't even have rode today, but if I wanna ride sunday, I had to get plates today (dont have a car). Anyone got tips on dealing with heavy winds? I was just gripping the tank with my knees, pushing down on the pegs with my feet, and tucking in/leaning into the wind.
