Where to find good selection of boots?

I'm looking for some decent boots for everyday wear, in particular I'd prefer if they were light and good in hot weather. Ideally they would be just covering the ankles and looking good even when off the bike. Had a pair of Puma Testastretta and liked them, but after a couple months the zipper on one of the shoes got busted, and I hear that's common with them, so don't want to get more of the same, want something that will last longer than a single season.

Was eyeing some Dainese shoes, but Riders Choice don't have them. Are there any other stores in the GTA that carry Dainese boots? Overall, looking for recommendations of local stores with good selection of casual motorcycle footwear.

You're not going to find a whole lot at this time of year. Most shops are selling off their selection to make room for the 2012 stock.

GP Bikes now has the Dainese line in stock, not sure how close they are to you but they're out in Whitby.
Not sure which model boot you were talking about, but I have the Torques, I usually wear these when I'm just riding without a destination.
Looks good and sleek but I wouldn't want to wear them all day if I'm riding to work.
That's why I bought a pair of Puma Flat 2 V2, they look like normal sneakers but provide better support.

Where did you get those Puma Flat?

I visited GP Bikes, but they had no Dainese boots. I agree that now is not the time when selection is at its prime, but at least prices got to be decent ;).

I got them from a member on this forum, they were brand new never worn... not a scuff not a scratch and they still had the tissue inside them.
Honestly, If you're in no real rush, I would suggest you wait or the Jan. show.
This year they had some good prices on boots and I'm sure you'll find a similar deal next year.
Just make sure you shop around when you're there.
