Still toying around with what i want to do with my old street bike, here's the condensed version of its history. Bought an 06 zzr600 when i lived in Edmonton and had two low speed low sides on the left side of the bike at track days, wrecked the fairings, the bolt on the fairing (both sides) hit the front side of the frame and left a mark on the frame thats just a tiny bit deeper then the paint. Rode it for a whole other season with duct taped together fairings, moved back to Ontario and brought that and my track bike back.
Now the problem, i assumed my registration was in the tail of the kawi, but apparently it didn't make the move. This would be no problem, if i didn't owe Alberta about 1000 dollars in photo radar fines that i really dont feel like paying, otherwise i'd already have it registered in ontario. So if i wanted to sell it the other alternative is i do have the original bill of sale and prior ownership but it's clearly marked $4,700 (bikes are reasonably priced out there) so if i wanted to say i just never titled it you could register the bike in ontario for around 600 bucks in taxes.
So now what do i do with it?! Bike's mint and the small scratches on the frame aren't about to cause a failure. Valves we're done at 18k and i got it running again this spring, it still wheelies like a champ. Shows 26k now but it got a -1 front sprocket at 18k so it's more like 24k, but what to do with it. If i could get around 2k for it, for 3 someone could put together a pretty cool street fighter titled in their name, not sure i'd want to sell it for much less then that. Other option is if i could find a good industrial area to do some stunting maybe i just trailer the bike too and from so i can play around doing stoppies and wheelies. Not looking to be a mad stunna but i get yelled at for doing ****** little wheelies at the track and not only do i love doing wheelies but i need more practice so i can be all pro. Riding on the street for myself is not an option as i'll get my license taken away, and my track budget is already out of control.
These are just my musings, what do you guys think?
