US Route 17 East

Hey all, Planning a 2 day run this long weekend to Orange County Choppers & Jr's shop for a "something to do run" and some nice photo's.

Thing is I can't seem to find any info on good places to stop along Route 17 online, tried googling every way I can think of and just get the same lame results.

So anyone know of any good stops along the way?

Any help would be great !!

Are you looking for food stop or attractions?
You can pass by Letchworth Park and or pass by the finger lakes to see the waterfalls. Midway is Binghamton and there are lots of place to stop for a bite.
Then you can detour from 17 and head to port Jarvis for a scenic ride through eagles nest along 97 or go north through Catskill.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for rest area's and some attractions. I'll note these spots.

There are rest area on 17 but most are limited truck stop(washroom and vending machine only). None have gas.

Resting is good, happy with that.

Found a few places from the AAA site, so I have added them to my list of things to do.

As long as we don't get soaked there and back we are going..eyes to the sky.
