Tomorrow's Weather

This has the potential to delay the start of my riding season by a week or two. I had been patiently waiting for a warming trend (I won't ride below 12C or so) combined with a couple of cleansing rains to get rid of the salt and sand (which we've had this week). With the threat of freezing rain, ice pellets and snow, I'm quite sure the salting trucks will be out in full force. The wait for warmer temps and rain will continue.

it's snowing to beat hell here today. big wet flakes that are melting pretty much on impact, but it's still snow :(

Sometimes everything works out... Got 300kms in yesterday. Hamilton to Oakville then down to Crystal beach where there was not a cloud and it was warm. managed to pull into the garage just as it started raining. That should hold me till nesxt week. Life's a ***** (but not always!)..... John

Im ready to write a strongly worded letter of complaint about the weather. Who should I address it to?

I have a feeling it wont happen, just rain

One can hope :(

We still have snow on the ground here in places. The bush it's still pretty much still all white on the ground, so this is gonna make it even worse.
Motocross season is off to a late start since my bike build got delayed, now that the bike is ready the weather is messing it up... Looks like I will get one ride before I start to race on basically a brand new bike.
If I was just waiting to take the bike for my commute or weekend rides it wouldn't be a huge issue, but it's really messing up my pre-season prep!

I'm doing the rain dance backwards as I type this. Any virgins here we can sacrifice to appease the sun god?

Dammit!!! I have to ride tomorrow, Gp bikes called me today saying my new exhaust arrived and my appointment is for tomorrow to install.. Thank god it's only about 10km away from my house

Getting parts in is like receiving awesome gifts lol. Is it a full exhaust or just a slip on?!

At some times during the day it wasn't raining but it did pour for most of it. :(

It's an M4 slip-on with mid pipe.. :)

I've been waiting over 3 weeks and the appointment has already had to be pushed back once. I may just have to pay to have it trailered there if the weather is too bad

Just take the exhaust and install it yourself unless you're getting your ecu flashed or something?

The M4 midpipe isn't the easiest to install. You have to cut the stainless steel headers from the cat box, perfectly square and straight otherwise the midpipe won't line up with the muffler, and it'll leak, etc. A lot of people have a shop do it, the stainless just murders your hacksaw blades :(

I'll let him tell ya how the ECU flash went ;)

Won't ride below 12? I've had a couple sub zero rides, admittedly after 40 mins it was brutal. It's calling for snow up here but I don't think it will stick, it's the two weeks of rain I'm not happy about.
