tire warmers and fender clearence

I have acquired tire warmers for this upcoming season. The warmers just fit the front and are almost contacting contacting the underside of the front fender. Will this create problems ?????. I don't want to melt the front fender.

Well I'd be more worried about damaging the warmer. But some warmers get as hot on the outside as the inside. So measure the heat on the outside and if they do get upwards of 70C then you might want to build in a little clearance. But if you are jamming it in you will stress the wire and connections to the thermostats. Not sure how I would know that...
