Thread thanks or like option?

Anyway you can implement a like/thanks feature per post in a thread?

Some posts are awesome, helpful, and hilarious and I think it would be a good feature to keep up with the rest of the internets!

There used to be a reputation feature enabled similar to this. The idea would be to build positive (or negative) reputation over time so you could tell something about the poster. It turned into whoring for votes and was disabled as the results were meaningless.
