Still waiting for the update myself... Before listing my SM parts for sale.

Drumbo will be our fall back plan if the potential other (much better) places dont work out. Should know in a week or 2. Sorry its taking so long...
The schedule is set and there will be events on the dates listed so book those days off
The exciting news is that we will be doing 2 race weekends at shannonville.
coyo - dont sell your stuff!

So if I understand you right, you might not even open Drumbo at all, correct?

Possibly, drumbo would be a lot of work for only 3 events. We are in talks with existing tracks that would be better for everyone and should have an answer shortly.

One of the most appealing things for me anyhow, was the fact that drumbo was only an hour away, so short of getting use of the kart track at flamborough speedway, not sure im going to be too interested in travelling to other tracks, thanks for the effort tho

Yup, ditto.

Same here!

I was only considering doing some trackdays. Without the close location i dont think im interested either.

Ok good to know guys. With this much interest shown in Drumbo we'll have to put more importance on this location.
Don't bail on us yet...
I'll keep you posted.

Four and a half months and counting (he says as he lays out the SM wheels, rotors, and caliper re-locator for pictures).

An improvement, for sure! Too bad my work schedule interferes with the 1st 2 practice dates. Will keep watching for more dates before making the decision to sell off my WR450 SM kit.

If there is more interest and participation at the practice days, we have the option of adding more practice days this summer.

On a side note; I had not owned a motorcycle in 18 years, came out for a practice and ended up racing all last summer. It is an extremely friendly atmosphere. The guys (and girls) are very helpful with tips, bike set up and encouragement. I received so many tips on line choice, riding tips and even maintenance.

I had NEVER been on dirt with a motorcycle before either! If this scares the crap out of you, there is a sportsman class that races on pavement only. I was not able to clear a table top my first day out, so do not be discouraged if you cannot master this your first time out. This is why we are making the Drumbo track new rider and old rider friendly. It is very exciting to see how much interest there is in Supermoto!!!

Here you go guys: http://www.supermotoontario.com/p/schedule_14.html
Practice days WILL be at the Drumbo track. Thanks to you guys voicing your opinions we scrapped the other plans we were working on to stick with the original plan of using Drumbo. See you all June 2nd!
