Anyone have any experience dropping a bike off on the US side of the border and having it shipped within the US for a vacation? Figured there would be less customs hassles to deal with this way, and likely cheaper. I'm 45 minutes from Niagara Falls, NY so I could just ride it down to drop it off, get a lift back home and fly out a few days later by the time the bike is arriving.
Would probably need a company near the border who would assist with this for a reasonable fee, maybe a bike shop in Lewiston, Niagara or Buffalo area?
Edit: Just found this company in another thread - ParcelDonkey - they are set up to receive shipments of vehicles including motorcycles. Perhaps they would allow a bike to be picked up by a shipper there as well. Price is $100 for receiving.
