Shelter Valley Road

Anyone here know if Shelter Valley Road north of Hiway 2 is gravel or paved?
I am trying to set up a small group ride and would like to add this to my map.

it's been awhile but it was paved.

I thought I was the only one who knew about this one, lol. It is, and last I checked it was good condition pavement too. Part of what makes it fun is that there is virtually no traffic on it, so don't tell too many people :wink: j/k

If you're refering to the one near Port Hope, I rode it on a bicycle 40+ years ago and it was paved back then. I don't know if they've kept it up.

if your talking about the shelter valley road just off of hwy 2 near Grafton, I was on there this past weekend and it is paved

Every time I head east on the 401 and go over that road I have wondered whether it would be worth the time to double back and take a run along it. I have checked it on Google maps and it looks like a good road. Maybe on our way back from Lake George on June 5th.
