Looking for someone local that can pre-cut the Seat foam pad for my 2006 GSXR 1000 Superbike tail.

I did it myself on my previous race bike and I didn't do a very good job.

Wonder if Bickle or Drew do these?

I butchered the universal pad that came with my Sharkskinz, there is absolutely no way for you to cut that thing smoothly.
I bought a Woodcraft custom cut pad, much better quality than the piece I got from Sharkskinz and it is bike specific.

link?

If you have a sample, I may have that foam in stock. A lot less than the Woodcraft offering. PM me and we can work something out

Can you custom cut them with a smooth finish around the edges?

depends on the foam how you can cut it,, have used band saws,,electric carving knives, routers and heat cutters. But use the wrong one on the wrong stuff and you
may only be able to count to 9.5 with your hands! Some materials can not be routered on the edges.

If you have any issues I can get it as well for you. Let me know.

Wow, that multicolour stuff is really wild. I have some of the black diamond waffle stuff and it's really easy to cut and form. Nice product, and typical of Apex to offer the good stuff.

Thanks, I think i got it sorted out. I ordered one already cut - One from a member here (not sure if he wants me to mention who he is) and another one from Armour Bodies.

I've always cut my own using very sharp high quality scissors. The key for the edge is to smooth it out using sand paper. The sanding removes the burred edges and prevents the foam from catching on your suit and ripping up.

P.S. I buy them from Z1.
