, if you didn't see, get it somewhere, google is your friend

noob question: if crash (or run out gas <--- I remember few times, etc) at last lap last corner, or only 10 meters (or even 1 meter) to finish line
could rider push all the way to the end for final position??
if ok, with help (track crew) ok or rider push only?
if crash at last moment, bike cross the line but not rider, or vice versa, ok?

Can someone please explain to me what race#1 and race#2 mean? I did not watch wsbk for a long time, motogp viewer. In motogp it is simple - 1 circuit, 1 race, 1 winner. Plus overall standing in the GP.
How does it work with 2 races per circuit in wsbk?

Those were 2 amazing races, but the last lap of race 2 took the cake

It works just like MotoGP but imagine there are two races instead of one. If you qualify in front you will start first on both races no matter who wins race 1.

Same points for both races

Not sure what else to explain

So let's say rider A wins in race 1 and rider B wins in race 2 - now we will have two winners for the race on this particular circuit?

yepp thats how it works.

motogp team and tech are running top of the edge, but sbk is more fun, more bikes, not much difference between teams

It wasn't. Rae was arrested after the race and flown to Canada where he was then charged with..... racing.

:)

right... so any rider can just "bump" the guy in front, then take a win. basically, just brake later than the leader, cut him off and make him lose the front end. a perfectly good strategy.

Correct and each will be awarded the same amount of points

Do you actually not get it or are you being obtuse?

how would you like it if someone did that to you?

The term "Racing incident" these things happen. Considering both Haslam and Rae were spotted having a couple of beers after the race Haslam didn't think it was wreckless.

He was probably more ****** at himself for leaving the door open twice in the last two corners for his team mate.

It depends on the situation. Like Jay said, sometimes stuff like this happens and it's not really anyone's fault and it's deemed a "racing incident". It's something I accept when I am in a race, it might happen to me and I could either be in Haslam's position or Rae's.

There are other times when a rider might get taken out by someone else's bonehead stupid move. In those cases riders often get penalized.

I bet you think they go "too fast" as well.
