Road Trip - Toronto>Sudbury>Manitoulin>Tobermory>Toronto

Leaving tomorrow for a ride to Killbear, then on to Sudbury and perhaps a stay in Espanola and then onward to Manitoulin. Anyone have any suggestions, recommendations, info and other news that might be useful?

Hey, I did that trip last year.

Watch the construction bypassing Sudbury, I almost lost it when I hit an unmarked pavement cut. Yikes!!!!

Oh, and if you decide to hop the ferry, definitely don't eat at South Bay Mouth, seriously bad fish 'n chips, antique grease.

Coming back from Tobermory, hit 'the Grotto', spend the day, worth it if you're a confident swimmer.

Not all places have bad food. Was at South Bay Mouth on the long weekend. Carol & Earl's have great home cooked meal, great people, great food, good prices, generous portions. We always make a point of going there when out that way.

Wish I'd known that. Please limit my critique to the obvious (walking distance from Ferry parking) Fish'nchip place. My stomach rebels when I think of it, blech!
