Rider with US license

Is there any rider holds or held US license? Just wondering how much was your rate for the first policy. Personally,I have a license from Ohio(20 month experience which Drivetest says I can get a M2) and under 25. Asked Desjardins and they just refuse to approve the policy(CBR500R).

Some ins. companies will not insure individuals with less than 6 yrs riding experience.
