Ride for Dad.

Good on you! Dads need more than the big piece of chicken.

Good for you RFD is a GREAT organization and contributes millions each year to battle cancer. I have had 4 family members, (mom, dad, and two brothers all pass from it). Now I have a neice and a sister diagnised and beginning their fight.

Our ATV club is for the first time this year doing an ATV RFD in June.

Yes RFD started with motorcycle rides they now do

Motorcycles,
ATV,
Snowmobile; and,
PWC, (Personal Water Craft). Rides.

I encourage everyone to support when and how they can.

The ride is a lot of fun, I did the Hamilton one in 2012.
Some advice if you aren't used to group riding.
Listen carefully to the instructions at the beginning, they are meant to help you have a safe and fun day.

The riding clubs that show up have been riding together for a long time, I find their pace uncomfortable
so I do my best to let them go on ahead.

Ride your own pace, it's not a race. Have fun, and let us know how you enjoyed it :)

I do this ride too in the Kingston area. One thing to note that is different about this charity is that all the proceeds go to the local area of the ride (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). It's a good cause and it is very well run!

Awesome positive words here. Thank you for tips on large group rides. I'll be sure to take it at my own pace.
I saw that there are other type of rides now. I think the ATV sounds like great fun!!!
Thank you for everyone who takes part! It will be great fun. I'll be sure to post after the ride.
