Does anybody know the best place to remove my Scorpio i900 alarm for my bike? I have zero experience with electrical connections and would rather have it done professionally.

I know it says it's very easy to do but again - I would rather not have a simple job become a complicated repair.

Thanks

I'm assuming there's no wiring harness (the plug n play type).

The manual has a wiring diagram in it I believe. If you brought it to anyone who knows anything about electronics and has a soldering iron, they will do it for a fraction of the cost a mechanic would.

I'm sure you know at least one guy who knows that type of stuff. If you're ever in Sauga I have a friend who's into hardcore electrical stuff, he'll probably do it for you for $50 or something.

If it's plug and play (harness that plugs into your gixxers harness) then just unplug it and put the factory connections back. Then sell said alarm to me :hello2:

I don't know if there's a harness or not... have a look at the manual from the guy below perhaps?! I'm clueless.

Question is, why are you removing it? Selling the bike?

1. I'm too stupid to learn how to use it - it is super complicated
2. I'm going to Europe soon - so need the disposable income
3. I have full coverage
4. My bike is a POS that no one would want to steal

I love that alarm. Works great on my bike. Its super easy to install and remove. Just follow the wires. Most people would get the wiring harness as its only $20 more.
