Has anyone put an R6 front rim on an R1 ?
I recently broke my R1 (2009) front rim.
After checking the specs (they are the same, except for Rotors) I picked up a used R6 front rim for a good price.
It fits no problem.
Only difference I can see is the spokes on the R6 rim are slightly thinner in depth, (1" as oppsed to 7/8") where they connect to the rim itself.
Both weight approximately the same, just a different style of casting.
I had a hard time finding a used R1 front rim.
