Power Commander, yes or no?

Depending on the bike it might make it run a little more lean or give you more backfiring though. My bike is known for lots of backfiring with slipons without a retune or at least plugging the pair valve.

Answer:

Does your bike run well?
Save your money.

Does it run poorly after intake/exhaust mods?
Use a PC.

power commanders are soooo old school....

most bikes newer than 2007 can have there existing onboard ECU reflashed..(upgraded)..then dyno

for alot less

Where can i get this done? The bike runs okay but backfires should i get this done?

If the bike is running well and there is no loss of power in your rpm range, then you don't need a PC...
I have one installed with my akra slip on because I had to remove the cat and it still backfires every once in a while.

I tried to explain it to you as best as possible, and leave the decision to buy one or not up to you. As I told you Ive had bikes run fine without them, then had others that didnt. It really depends on all the factors involved (bike make/model and exhaust Make/model) as every bike and exhaust combo is different. I think in your case it was a good decision to buy one..

Keep in mind if you ever want to see the difference between no PC and PC, you would just have to load the "zero map" and the bike will operate as if you dont have one...

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret buying the PC at all... Never bothered changing the map because I'm pretty happy with the way the bike runs now...

BTW... my rearsets should be in tomorrow lol... you free this weekend bro?
