Possible stolen bike ad? 2000 Yamaha r6. Is this anyones?

Went to check this bike out. Superrrrr sketchy sale. Met at a gas station. Seat was not attached, looked like it was just ripped out. The person said he "lost the screws". Scratches, damages everywhere for which the guy said this is how he got it and nothing else. He said tons of sketchy stuff that made me think that this might be stolen. If this belongs to someone here or some acquaintance of someone here, check it out.

Some people are naturally "sketchy" too.. but if spider sense tingles...

Just do a search on the frame number before you buy.

It's worth it just for the super duper cool shocker sticker. As said if you felt it was sketchy it's better to just walk away.

its a 15 year old model, she isnt going to be mint no matter what the seller says in the ad, unless shes had a full tear down, cleaning and ground up rebuild.

ive got the same model sitting in my shop right now. i wouldnt buy 1 at that price, lots of small parts are going to need replacing, rubber goes bad and im not talking just the tires. fuel lines, gaskets, hoses..all kinds of stuff. i fired it up last night and the fuel hose blew and she ****** gas all over the place.
$1500 to 2 grand for that bike.

great machines but not new by any means.
