Issue:
Under certain conditions, the tire(s) could wear irregularly. As a result, the belts could become damaged over time, and the tread could separate. If this happens, the tire could fail.

FWIW, since my original post I played e-mail tag with Pirelli North America (U.S. based) for about a month - Pirelli Canada punted even though it was a Transport Canada recall. About a month later a tire magically appeared at my local shop. We filled out a work order, sent it and the tire back to them and since then crickets. No one is out of pocket at the moment except on the labor but it sure would be nice if they settled up.
