Hi everyone, just wanted to post the guys who stole my Ducati 1098s last year from my condo garage.
The the alarm was on, and the bike locked with a cable lock... they still took it.
I hope everyone can share these pics and hopefully someone knows at least one of these guys.

So far 3 motorbikes have been taken from our condo garage downtown. The last one was just a few weeks ago.

Cheers, hope these guys get caught and rot in hell!

Thanks! My second bike gone to theft, I now have a Honda CBR 1000rr special edition Black, I'll wait for this one to be stolen too lol!

How did they get into the underground garage? they must either have a keycard or have advised the concierge/security through the intercom; both of which should have either been logged in a book or computer

Did the cameras catch a license plate?

Gone in 20 seconds :(

Not my bike but gets me annoyed watching it. Fat guy not what i expected to see.

Interesting van they used..

Oh, and plates are usually stolen.

1. They can make up an half assed excuse to get pass the gates.
2. You can just stalk someone down to the underground parking lot. This also applies to a lot of gates lol.
3. Most likely stolen license plate.

Btw - did it take this long to get the pics?

Unfortunately, the police couldn't read the plate (I don't think the guy would be dumb enough to use his own van) ... These guys tagged another car going into the garage.
We have upgraded security cameras since, but another bike was stolen a few weeks ago!

is there like a tazer theft deterrent you can add on the bikes, would be pretty shocking for them if they tampered with your bike going forward

this just proves the point of not even to bother with bike security.

Thieves will just take it. the only things those locks and other gizmo's will do, is just frustrate you any time you want to park your bike, or go for a ride,

Very true, I'm still waiting for these guys to jack my CBR1000RR parked in the same spot. They took someones other bike a few weeks ago in my condo garage but left mine alone? My bike was newer/better etc.
I wonder why? I'm waiting ... take it lol!
It's a bait bike ;)

This reminded me that with all the money I have been spending on Farkles, Its time for a 19mm Chain, lock and a anchor for my spot.

...

You should take the last sentence out, just in case...

It's one thing to go to your bike and find it missing but watching the pics/vids is like putting salt on a wound.
It sucks either way and I'm very sorry for your loss OP.

Talk to your buddy on the board about putting in an anchored eye bolt into the wall or floor, tell them you will cover the costs. Should only be about $50 to have it done. Grab yourself a good chain lock and you should be good to go

Unfortunately cameras don't deter the theives :(

Man, that sucks. Proof that Alarms do nothing. You should be able to live anywhere in the city and keep a nice bike. I am not familiar with the cable locks. Was it tied or wrapped around something?

Thanks!
**** happens all the time, it's how you take it/deal with it that matters the most.
We have control of what we think and thus how we will feel,
Yes it does suck Big Time! But hey, life goes on
