Thanks for posting pics. How fast was your shutter speed? The pics are quite sharp, but I find them lifeless. Not trying to be too critical, motorsport photography isn't easy. I like shots with relatively long exposure where you track the bike (1/60 or so) so things look like they are flying. Without tons of practice, most shots end up too blurry to use this way though.
Otherwise, if you can shoot bikes in corners the pics will be more dynamic. I don't know what positions are available to shoot from at Shanny. Your location could work with a long lens (200mm+ probably closer to 400) There is a great pic in the back of GSXR 113 (pic 5) if you had the reach to get it.
Are flashes allowed when shooting at the track?
