Hey guys,

So I have graphic design/animation educational background and I've been seriously considering getting an airbrush kit. I'm just not sure if the demand is already satisfied out there. So open forum discussion - Do you want a paint job? Do you already have a guy that does your paint jobs? What price do you think is average and/or too high for a touchup job after, say, dropping your bike?

I need a design done on my new motorcycle. It needs to be an air brush job. It needs to look really good and I am getting it done on the tank of my motorcycle. PM me for details.
 
It's a serious skill to do this kind of work.
I too, have an animation background (from Sheridan back in the early 90's) but am employed as a graphic designer... I dabble in airbrush, but don't have the time to devote to it.

Before you think of this as a sideline, go to a wrecker, pick up some old body panels or messed up gas tanks and practice your craft. Keep photos of your progress, and post up the good ones on a website to drum up some business or use as reference.

If you don't have an airbrush, I've got a Badger compressor and airbrush that's sitting around not being used. Excellent condition - I tend to use my other gear more often. PM me if you're interested.
