Ontario- Indy MotoGP- the long way

Starting my route planning. I will bee-line it thru NY and PA, as I can explore those on any weekend.

I will make West Virginia in 7 hrs or less.

LMK any must see roads/rides in West Virginia and Kentucky, en route to our destination, Indy, to watch the Moto GP races, before we slab it home.

- Spruce Knob, WV's highest point is now paved all the way to the top. Access the road 3 miles east of Riverton on Rt.33.
- #33 thru George Washington National Forest
- turn onto 250 at Monterey and head into the Monongahela National Forest.Turn onto 28/92 and head towards Green Bank, stop at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory which is home to the Green Bank Telescope.
- Route 12 (Howards Lick-River State Park road), steep mountain road that goes through the Lost River State Park. (watch for gravel on the road)
