Older Model Carb parts on zzr600/zx6r?

need to kno if there is a suitable replace ment for this slide in other year/models

it needs to fit a 98-02 zx6r or a 05-08 zzr600

Kawasaki Part # 16126-1394 - valve slide that holds needle (its goes over the butterfly valve, has a rubber diaphragm on it under the cap on the carb)

i was wondering if that part from any of the 1985-1997 ZX6 A/B/C/D/F models would fit as i can get one asap (looking at other diagrams it has the same begining part number but it looks slightly different even in the 97)

I believe that is a Keihin CVK series carb but I don't know what size. The earlier ZX6 (no R) most likely used smaller carbs. The vacuum slide from the same model and size of Keihin CVK carb, even if it is from a different bike, should be the same or close enough. Your challenge now, is to identify other models of bike that use the same model and size of carb as yours.

Honda and Kawasaki historically have used Keihin; Suzuki and Yamaha historically have used Mikuni.

OK so you have the odd one out. What Suzuki and Yamaha bikes have the same Mikuni carbs?

IIRC Honda owns a substantial chunk of Keihin so you won't find a Honda with OEM Mikuni.
 
ya man according to the model number on the specs of my zzr600, the 1997-200 gsxr srads have the samecarbs! that widens my chance of finding parts. to bd i dont think any salvage shop is open tomorrow :(

Try frekeyguy on this forum... he had a couple SRADS and had TONs of parts... he might just have what you are looking for.
