I'm located Downtown. What is the best place to get oem suzuki parts? Any help would be appreciated. Online? are there any other dealers? Other than Ready Suzuki or Newmarket? The suzuki website is garbage i can't find any info, dealer locator doesn't work.

I checked a few of the online places but they are USA so USD and also charging flat shipping of 29.00 bucks to canada on a 15 dollar part.

Where else can i try to find this? Are there any suzuki dealers downtown?

You know how to read right? I said other than ready suzuki and the dealer locator is not working for me an error comes up...also looking for alternatives...ie websites that deal in canada and ship to canada or another option...thanks for the input though. I'll keep google in mind next time i need to look something up. Never tried that one before.

What part(s) are you trying to locate??? Yes by the way I can read, cut and paste from the Suzuki site can't help that it included Ready Suzuki in the list!

I used these guys - http://www.partsoutlaw.com/ when I was rebuilding my Suzuki, if you get a lot of parts at once it makes it worthwhile, plus they were able to get me parts then say Snow City could not, or it would take them longer to get

It might be helpful if you tell us about the bike you need pars for, make, model, year of manufacture, could be useful info to steer you in the right direction and or to other sites

2005 gsxr 750....looking for brake rebuild kits

ive had good experience with ron ayers online from the states....if you think the shipping isnt worth it, think about the time and gas you will save by not getting the parts yourself locally

Good at experience at both Snow City and SON (when Amazon worked there of course). I deal with Asselstines though as they're close by (and they're awesome).

That's only if they have it in stock, if not, your waiting for them to order it, and the wait time will be the same then no matter who you go to...because they all get it from the same place if it's got to be ordered

.

No, I get parts from the dealership in 2-3 days unless backorderd. If I order from the U.S. it's a week or more depending on customs.

That's what I meant, if it's in stock, not at the dealership but at the warehouse, you will get it in a few days, if not and has to be ordered from the supplier it's then longer

Most dealerships I have dealt with do not carry much of anything in stock, they don't want the overhead or the cost of buying the part and sitting on it...waiting for someone to come in and buy it.....

Ok but you said its the same as ordering it sateside and I said no. If they have it in their warehouse in the US then ship it your not getting it in under a week.

luck of the draw maybe , but I have ordered from this place and got stuff in 4 days, if they had it in stock, mailed to my house USPS nothing fancy or expedited

just saying and giving my experience is all

I've never recieved somthing that quick or possibly have but don't remember. If I need an oem part I go to my local dealer so that I have a local dealer in the future.

Now last Jun my bike, (yamaha roadstar), was hit, most of the parts were in stock at Yamaha Canada, it took about 2 weeks for the dealership to get them. The fuel tank was not in stock at Yamaha Canada, they estimated 4 weeks to get it. 4 weeks later they told dealership they had to source one from the supplier and it would take another 6 weeks to get it from Japan.

I got p'd off went online, at least three US retailers, informed me they could get it to me here in Canada in less than two weeks. I called two of them to confirm. They then did more checks and said they couldn't get it for 4 weeks either. Then after getting in touch directly with Yamaha Canada they "investigated" and said they actually found ONE at Yamaha USA warehouse. But the two companies are not the same, and they would "order" it from Yamaha USA. They called back said Yamaha USA agreed to sell it to Yamaha Canada but it would take 3 weeks to get here. I let them have it said I walk down pick it up and walk it back here in less than three weeks...lol. I "suggested" that there was as far as I knew overnight shipping between the US and Canada. That was Friday.. part was delivered to dealership the following Wednesday. I dropped bike of last Friday Gas tank is now installed, (Bike was ridable it was just a dent).
