Oct. 2 Wheeler's Pancake House Loop

Well-known member
Elizabeth who is a member of the Ontario Moto Guzzi Ridders
called together a gathering of the clan at Wheeler's Pancake House.
In attendance where 7 Moto Guzzi and 3 other brands not worth mentioning although one was Italian.
I left Bath at 9:30 and the temp had risen to 9 degrees under sunny skies with a few high clouds.
Decided to put my liner back into my jacket and riding pants as well as warmer socks and lined gloves.
By the time I made it to hi way 7 the temperature seemed as though it had dropped but I was toasty warm.
Light traffic most of the day so it was a good ride.
We where all standing around outside telling lies of our exploits whem we noticed a big yellow school bus
loaded with seniors arrive so we decided to rush inside and get a table or we would never get served.
2 big pancakes, 3 sausage, bottomless bottles of maple syrup and lots of butter!
I am starting to get a "trucker physique".

Great destination. A bunch of us were there mid-week a couple weeks ago, and we were practically the only ones there.

Limited choices for breakfast, but wow, those choices are good.

Mabe Thursday is Seniors Day because the place was almost full and that is surprising since it is in the middle of nowhere.

Getting there can be half the fun

If you time it wrong that place is annoying fly central. This time of year it's probably perfect. If you get there when the sap is running you can sit inside, eat and watch the syrup flow through their pipelines. Great setting off point too for lots of fun roads on and off asphalt. Last time I was there they made their own maple sausages, do they still do that?
