Is there a non R version of this little bike or are they all 250 R's?

There is a slightly older much more ugly one, maybe that's the non R one.

Its the redesigned EX250-J which is known as the Ninja 250R, this is the 08-12 model. The ones prior were called a bunch of things like EX250, GPZ250, Ninja 250 etc depending on the market.

My wife rides a 1996 ninja 250r. I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it, some years they sport an "r" some years they don't. Lol

Thanks. Thinking about putting a stunt cage on it or extended frame sliders as gf learns to ride. Cheaper than Kawasaki plastics. They all get dropped. Any recommendations?
