New rider insurance quote

Hey everyone, new to the forum- glad to be here

19/male/M2 with a 2011 Kawasaki ninja 250r
Got a quote for it yesterday at $2300 for the year from Dalton Timmis. Asking around it seems pretty good but curious what people think with some more experience!
 
Sounds like they are punishing you for not having any rider history, but apparently that's how the system works.
Keep that bike nice and a super safe driving record for about the next 7 years and then you will be paying about one quarter that price for minimal coverage insurance, on that bike, at current rates. (y) safe riding.
 
OP thats a good rate for you, take it, it will go down if you behave.

I did an online quote with my own insurance and it was off only $38 from what I truly pay so its 95% accurate.

I think you can do a bit better. D&M I haven't found to have very good quotes. You can probably do better with TD, Streetrider, and RidersPlus.
Call them do not bother with online quotes.
