That stand is meant to work on bikes that have frame-under-motor (read: not sport bikes).

Just an FYI

Like Caboose mentioned--no SS/UJMs/scooters. The photos are a good indication of it's use. Make sure the bottle jack is functional, or you will need to bring it back. Also, it doesn't lift high enough for you to work standing. A chair is required. ALWAYS strap the bike down. The footprint isn't that stable, so be careful on uneven floors.

On my second jack.Over the winter the hydraulics broke .

I disregarded a few friends who had no use for this design - fit and/or stability; especially the lack of confidence in stability for their average sized bikes. I bought one because I thought of fabricating L shaped vertical risers to rotate out from the two beams on the jack and line them up with the frame rails - kind of like a mechanic's garage car lift has swing arms. Some store in the US was selling them with that accessory which is the only way that lift makes sense for my needs. Since I never got around to fabricating them, the jack's been assembled and unused in the garage for the second year.

I can take it off your hands for you!

$59 on sale this weekend. Great deal for you cruiser types.

Thanks for the heads up. That will fit nicely under my sportster.

I have this jack...worth the price, when you buy it on sale. I use it with my V-Star all the time. My friend also has a couple of them, that he uses, when he does maintenance on people's bikes. As other have said, it's meant for the type of bikes, that have a "frame" underneath. So, cruiser-style.
