Hey guys and galz, howz it going?


Fellow rider looking for some help.

My last ride of the season back in Oct, was an unfortunate one. I crashed my bike in Milton (slipped at a corner, but landed safely, thank god).:happy2:
My fairings were broken and my front end (Lights and mirrors) broke/fell off. No mechanical damage to the bike.
Now end to the sad story, I have repurchased new fairings and need it installed/have my front end fixed back up.
I have no skills in this area. I am a new rider and have no clue how to put the fairings back on or repair the front end.
I am looking for suggestions/places where I could go and get it fixed for reasonable amount of $$.


TL;DR need to know where to go to get my bike fixed (Cosmectic only, my parts) for a reasonable price.

You just need to mount the fairings and mount new lights and mirrors? Do you have the new lights and mirrors? If so, mounting all of it can be done in less than an afternoon - probably only need an allen key. Where in the GTA are you located?

i will try posting pics once i get home to give a better understanding.
i need to put the fairings on and i have the lights an stuff but the bar that holds mirror broke during the crash.. i could not find one of those anywhere to buy.
i have new fairings and my old lights which didnt brake during the crash .. just the while unit that stays welded to the handle or whatever to stay up just fell.. electric wures r still cinnected and everything works.. it just needs to be welded/screwed back on.

p.s i live in mississauga
 
Contact Les, he does fairing repairs for a reasonable price. Cheekeebandito is his forum name here.
 
It would help to know what bike?

Assuming that it is a kawi 250 2008 or up - It takes 10min to put the fairings on and i can do that for you depending on where you are

Post a pic of what is supposed to be broken so we know the extent of the damage

Sorry, this is the best I could do when I got home. It was dark, so I am uploading the ones I took before.
More or less it is the same, I just took off the old fairings you see in those pics atm.
The front you see (lights and stuff) is the same, only it has loosened from whatever held it and come off, wiring still attached though.
I will take proper ones tomorrow if needed.
The bike is ZX-6R 2002.
