Mon Sep 2 evening - DVP onto Bayview southbound ramp: group of SS, one goes down.

Last night at around 6:50pm I was on the way home towards Markham. I was in my cage heading up Bayview towards the DVP northbound. There was a group of 6-7 sport bikes coming off the ramp to join Bayview southbound (towards Rosedale Valley Road). The group of them came out of the ramp hot and close together. Unfortunately there was a car in the Bayview right hand lane and they were unable to merge onto Bayview as a group. One of the riders on a yellow bike locked his rear tire and went down. He may have hit the curb too in an attempt to not hit the car or his friends.

I saw the rider sitting up in my rear view mirror so hopefully he's OK. I'm sure he was well taken care of with his group of friends, so I kept going northbound.

Wonder if it was the same group of riders I saw that night parked next to the salt storage facility. It was much later than 6:50pm though and it looked like they were preparing for a ride. That section of DVP is fun but I'd highly suggest not using it to dick around.
