Hey everyone,

I bought the Klim induction mesh jacket and I’m a beginner rider. If anyone could clarify if the it’s protection is good or not or if mesh jackets are actually safe or not?. The jacket got shields on the elbows shoulders and back that are certified to CE AA rating.

Should be just fine. Klim is good stuff. You won’t have quite as much protection as a rugged solid material jacket but you also won’t be wearing the weight or getting overly hot either. Just as an FYI though, I have a Badlands Pro and wear it year round. Some jackets have tons of vents and I don’t mind trading a bit of sweatyness for the protection.
