Radar caught me at over 15 km/h @ bayview and steeles.... Man it didn't even look that fast... Was riding my Dads cbr 600 to look at my zx6r at the dealer.. That ruined my day... How is everyone today? Was a beautiful day to ride.

Fight that ish. Write down EVERYTHING you remember about the area. Traffic conditions, light condition, where the cop was, other cars around you, etc. If you need help let me know.

Easy to install a fuzz buster on your new ZX6 ;)

BTW these people are the reason i still have my license.
Now whenever i get a ticket i just scan it and email away. When they're done with it they give me a call and lemme know whats up, 99% of the time they win... I don't go to make a court date, dont even go to their office...

Start around 200 a ticket, well worth it imo

Full out win or reduced?

Btw why'd you change your avatar? What bike is that?

Wow, a lot of people are getting busted in that area.
Good luck with the ticket!

I've seen speed traps there at steeles least once a week when I took bayview down from elgin mills to eglinton to work (when I used to work there).

I'll keep this in mind :P

What does the price depend on? When you say starting at $200, would that be like a 5km/h over ticket or something?

Full out, as if they never existed. Several of them were summons not even a ticket. For any of you old enough before the stunting law if you were caught doing 50 over it was just a summons to court...

Its a 2006/2007 cbr1000rr, just with uk colours :)

Minor speeding, disobey sign is around 200 and goes up from there...

So, out of your last 100 tickets, they got 99 thrown out?

lol

I haven't received 100 tickets yet, probably somewhere around 10-20 when i really think about it. Out of all those they only lost 1, minus the points. To this day i have a clean driving record, and without these people i would have probably accumulated enough points to lose my license 3 or 4 times.

So that would mean they have a success rate of 90-95%, i apologize for my previous 99% estimate mr. Viper

BTW i know 10-20 tickets seems like a lot, but when i was in the car scene it would be normal for cops to pull you over and hand out 3-4 tickets at once for bs

Been there, in California nonetheless. :tongue10:
I've had 13 charges on one ticket, and that was in Ont :(

What the hell?
Were you wheeling the wrong way down the 401 while drinking a bud and punching a minor?
It was in a car. An undercover cop thought I was trying to evade him. Gave me some stupid tickets, speeding: 3km/h over, tint too dark, music too loud, exhaust too loud, nitrous/transport hazardous substance without DOT certified container, no catalytic converter/epa violation, headlights wrong colour, license plate light wrong colour, no front license plate, etc. etc.

I got the nitrous ticket (was huge $$$$) and catalytic ticket (was big $$$) thrown out if I plead to the other 11. Insurance was not good after that :(

Second this. Hwy law is great every ticket i've fought with them has been a win i'd rather pay a little and not have that **** on my records.

I assume it was somewhere along Bayview just north of Steeles? That's prob one of the most well known radar spots because of how frequently cops set up there. The cop is either going to be just south of the St. Joseph school entrance aiming north or just south of Bayview & Cummer aiming south.

I think they're especially picky in that area, you literally see most of the cars slow down and go exactly 50 or under. I went to high school around that area - It was kinda ridiculous the amount of cars I used to see getting stopped by cops when I'd swing by St. Joseph.

Good luck with that ticket though!
