Hey guys,

Heading out to the North east and looking for some first hand experiences on some awesome roads! I have done some reading online and on motorcycleroads.com/us and have done my best from what i have read!

However there's got to be a lot of hidden gems out there, any recommendations would be much appreciated!

I have attached a few routes that look good,,

Might try posting your route so people can chime in on suggested alternates or roads to hit along the way.

Route 8 from Route 12 (Above Utica NY) to lake George is great, the end east of route 28 is even better!

30 from tupper lake down to 28/30 down to 8 is even better.

Those roads look awesome! Definitely gonna have to check tthem out this summer.
Thanks for posting them.

Hwy 17 super twisty in Vermont's Green Mountain National Forest plus its other roads.
Basically stay off the Interstates and just turn onto any road and you will be happy has been my experiences there.

Be careful on 17. Last year the cracks in the road were big enough to swallow your front tire.

Like any road, eyes open. It is called particpation. LOL.

I just did it in both directions 4 weeks ago. Not at a snail`s pace either.

I added a little section after Lake Placid. You had Millbrook which is great, you might also want ot add CR6 jsut abve it. Nice fun piece of road.

For what its worth here is part of a route I may be doing with my Girlfriend on the week following Canada Day. She's a fairly new rider (got a used Gladius May 7th, has about 6,000 km of riding since) so this may change.

Vermont Rt 100 is very nice, and doing the "Gap" roads are quite nice (you have 125 on your route, also Lincoln Gap (although last time I was there a short section was gravel but shouldn't be an issue for any kind of half decent riders as even road bicycles go on it) 73, and 17 are fun.

Don't expect to go fast on White Mountain Rd. There was a fiar amount of car traffic on it when I was there.

Here is a little section of a route I did previously (in 09) that went down "The Ladder".

This is fun if you can incorparate it into your routes:
