Under 3 hours from west Toronto. Could be an energetic day trip.

The whole fingerlakes area (east of Letchworth) is a great place to explore. Just don’t do it on an American holiday and stay away from Watkins Glen on a Nascar race day. I still have to get to Letchworth but I’ve explored up and down the fingerlakes to the east.

Nice pictures, might have to go check it out.
Thx for sharing!

Sent from the moon!

Rode through Letchworth state park this summer. Oddly it's one of two gorges in NY that are referred to as the Grand Canyon of the East.

MacDoc talks about this place quite a bit
looks nice

agree with JC about Finger Lakes region too
lots of neat stuff and good roads in our neighbor state
I prefer crossing at 1,000 islands, so usually stay to the east

I found Finger Lakes too busy.

Letchworth is great place to eat and visit in the fall ....but very very busy on the weekends.

Tip - Take American cash ...they don't accept cards for entrance.

Eat at the Glen Iris Inn and you get your entrance fee back and the food is very good.

What is good on a loop down there is Corning Glass Museum.

Food is good.. you learn the whole history of glass making and some of the stuff is mind bending.

Good deals on Corning Ware too.

Pretty sure you are thinking of Pennsylvania ...
