Bike was knocked over yesterday while parked.

Damage is a new front fender and side farring. Aprox 300-400 bucks. Do I report this to insurance after going to a collision reporting center?

Is it worth it?

Will my insurance hike up even further?

well considering the fact that a deductible is usually 500-1000 plus your insurance will increase quite a bit you'd be pretty stupid to go through insurance

No point really, if your deductible is $500+. You'll pay for the repairs out of your pocket anyway.

depends on if you have the information of the person who hit you.
if you do, it's direct compensation property damage. no deductible.
the claim should not affect your premiums.

if you don't have the information, it's considered a "hit and run" and
you pay a deductible (under collision, or upset, or uninsured driver,
not sure which).

don't think the latter should affect your insurance, but not sure

You're having some horrible luck so far...
Anyways, glad you got back on 2 after your incident earlier in the season.
As others have stated, if the damage is minimal there is no need to go through insurance.
Just pay the 400$, fix your bike and get some more riding in before the season is done.

no need to report to collision center if the damage is less then $1000 between both vehicles.

btw, by reporting it to a Collision Reporting Center, you are reporting it to your insurance as well.
