I gave the wrong postal code

Hey just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this

I was moving into a new house and when I gave my information for insurance I unknowingly gave them the wrong postal code (same when I changed the address on my drivers license)

The house number and the street are accurate but the postal code on my insurance and license is XXX XX8 and the real one is XXX XX5

Does this make a real difference? Should I contact the insurance and change the information on my drivers license?

Yes, you should change it. It's likely not going to affect your rate; might as well have your address correct.

Just change it. I doubt just a difference in the last number will change much.

If it IS a big difference, and you don't change it, it can have much larger consequences in the future.
